New to NC. Coming from NYC and having one of the best barbers in the city, it was difficult and challenging to find a decent barber. Coming to Sambuco, in the hands of stylist Mandi we experienced a top notch service. She was personable and friendly and catered to our request, and my son’s haircut came out awesome! I just have to shout out my girl Mandi! She was at another spot in downtown Charlotte awhile back but I made sure to follow her to another spot because she’s the best. Her last spot doesn’t know what they lost. I moved from Cleveland, to Atlanta, to Charlotte recently for work so I needed to find the best person I could. I haven’t had someone like Mandi since Cleveland in 2011Its very hard to find a REAL good barber but she’s not that, she’s more of a hair scientist :) I was in the Army so I love a clean cut look but not look like I’m in the Army if that makes sense. She does a way better fade and cut than most men. She takes her absolute time and truly treats you amazing. Seriously she doesn’t rush at all, she goes back and makes sure everything is perfect. Shes a sweet woman, and as long as she’s cutting hair, I’ll always come to her. If you need a great haircut or fade ask for Mandi. I promise she will be your new favorite. Sambuco don’t mess this up, she’s one in a million. Also military vets get a discount.
These fellas had a tent at an event that was at my workplace. They were very professional and John has great attention to detail and was really cool to talk to. Their shop seems pretty awesome too, im definitely looking forward to checking it out for my next cut!
Love this place. I called in looking for a walk-in, I did not have an appointment and was lucky to get one. Mandi was available and wow did I get lucky. I usually go in with the "just make it shorter" answer when she asked what i was looking for. But wow, she threw some flair into my hair and gave me a new look. Im happy, wife loves it, my kids think i am hip now. LOL. Thanks Mandi, see you next month!
Was looking around the area since I’m new down here and reading the reviews from Sambuco I had to give it a shot. Scheduled a week in advance, got a barber and notifications leading up to it. First walk in I was greeted by one of the owners and she was very friendly as well as everyone else. Got seated at the bar in the waiting area and was served a complimentary beer which was amazing and waited for my appointment. My barber was Mandi and was hands down the most friendly barber I’ve ever had the pleasure of getting. She was attentive throughout the whole cut letting me know where the lines were and having a great conversation. I will definitely keep coming back to this barbershop from here on out!
